William Bain GILL was a playwright. He wrote a musical which (depending how you count) broke the Broadway long-run record, and several more which ran decades round America. He also did some work in England. Willie ended up living in the Bronx, in a place called West Farms, working as an inspector of public highways. He has been found in the 1910 census, with Elinor, Willie was only 58. Did he end his days in the Bronx? Did Elinor? And also what happened to their two actress daughters.
