Hi Josephine, Thanks for replying to my wee message. my MARIE STUDHOLME was an Edwardian musical comedy actress at the turn of the century. Born in 1875. I am aware of Marie Studholme the opera singer and have actually been in contact with her. But no relation to the original Marie Studholme, just a coincidence the names. She is aware of the older Marie Studholme and have had many people sending her postcards of the actress who was a very popular beauty in her day. She was one of the Gaiety girls and was managed by George Edwardes in the late 1890's - 1900's. I would like anyone with any bit of info on her to contact me. As my family were STUDHOLMES from South Birmingham/Worcestershire area I just need to get that one link. My mother having seen a photo of her in the Picture Post, mentioned what a likeness it was to my grandmother. My Gran replied that Marie was the illigitimate daughter of her Aunt. Maiden name STUDHOLME.
