Greetings listers! My Grandfather Abram (Abe?) COLLINGWOOD born in Sunderland 1894 and according to family history was a child performer on what,( I am guessing here) was the Old Music Hall stage around the turn of the century in the North East of England. This was substantiated by an old photograph of him in his costume, his act I believe was whistling and tap dancing? Unfortunately the photo, a valuable piece of family history, inadvertently got thrown out in the trash about 20yrs ago!!?. Does anyone know of any records or if there is any collection of billboards of that time or Era in the hope that his name may be recorded somewhere? Anyone? Anything?
