As suggested by the list administrator I am introducing the person I am researching,She was Bessie BELLWOOD aka Elizabeth Ann Katherine MAHONEY born in Monkstone Ireland in either 1857 or 1860,I know quite a bit about her stage cereer but very little about her personal life.I have yet to find a birth or baptism,so I do not know her parents names.She was reported to have been married to a Jack Nicholson,no record found,she died at the age of 36 or 39 but again I am still searching for a record.Although born in Ireland she was raised in the New Cut Bermondsey and was performing in that area as a girl.I would really like to find her link to my Great Grandmother who was born Mary MAHONEY and had several items, pictures and programs from her "cousin" Bessie. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find out more about this elusive lady. Carole.
