Richard, RE: James son of John Tetlow of Cross Parish born 4 June 1785 baptized 4 September 1785, ST. Peter's, Leeds. I notice that the IGI has this entry as: John, son of James Tetlow, baptized 4 Sep 1785 at St. Peter, Leeds. I assume that the IGI entry is incorrect? This may explain why I haven't been able to locate the father as James! Thanks, Bill D.
