Hi Folks, I'm getting some information in, from a chap who is distantly related to the Tetleys, through Bessie Walsh (1828-1882). Bessie Walsh married George Calvert Tetley, son of Edward Theophilus Tetley, who was himself a son of George Tetley and Grace Greenwood. For those who are not familiar with this family, they were among the textile barons of Bradford. The information mostly relates to the family of Bessie Walsh, so I won't post it all here, but if anyone would like a copy, I am at liberty to pass it on to you. It is an interesting tale in some respects, even if there is no direct Tetley information in it, because there are extracts from a travel diary. The family emigrated to the states, and sent back one of the youngsters, with instructions to 'look up' his english relatives (and with instructions on how to find them!). I'll post the interesting bits when I get there. Cheers Rich -- Born in Sheffield, but currently in Nottingham UK.
