They're all new additions to the database, for the time being. > Bingley > Ellen Loveday wife married 61 years born Bingley > Joseph Hardaker brother single 44 years Weftman Worsted Mill born Bingley > Annie E Tetley niece single 28 years Worsted Spinner born Bingley > of 44 Main Street RG 13/4070 ED 6 FN 117 Now then, this Annie is the daughter of Milner Tetley from Heaton. Ellen Loveday was Ellen Hardaker before she married. I have found the family on the 1881 census:- Dwelling: Cottingley Census Place: Bingley, York, England Source: FHL Film 1342037 PRO Ref RG11 Piece 4343 Folio 107 Page 29 Marr Age Sex Birthplace Elizabeth HARDAKER W 69 F Loftus, York, England Rel: Head Elizabeth HARDAKER U 26 F Bingley, York, England Rel: Daur Occ: Worsted Weaver John HARDAKER U 28 M Bingley, York, England Rel: Son Occ: Worsted Weaver Joseph HARDAKER U 24 M Bingley, York, England Rel: Son Occ: Worsted Weaver Joseph LOVEDAY M 34 M Ben Ridding, York, England Rel: Son In Law Occ: Ag Lab Ellen LOVEDAY M 38 F Bingley, York, England Rel: Daur Occ: Housekeeper ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In fact, Milner and Mary Ann Tetley are living a few doors away (OK, 17 houses but that's not really far) from the Hardakers! My best guess is that Milner's wife, Mary Ann, was a Hardaker/Hardacre. But, I'm having trouble proving that. There are several possibilities in the IGI, but none that entirely fit. Any help on this, would be much appreciated. > Bingley > Sarah Ann Tetley head single 70 years Living of own means born Bradford > Thomas Tetley brother? married 52 years Engineers Book Keeper born Bradford > of 7 Lock View Bingley RG 4070 ED 8 FN 150 These two were children of Edward Theophilus Tetley.
