Blackburn MI records has in Birstall:- In memory of Joseph Tetley, woolstappler, late of the lordship of Tong, who departed this life the 20th day of July 1803 aged 40 years. Also of Ann wife of the above named Joseph Tetley who died Jun 12th 1819 aged 58 years. Aslo of Joshua son of the above said parents who died Oct 7th 1833 aged 34 years. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This identifies him (for me) as Joseph (1762-1803), the son of James and Sarah (nee King). Joseph married Ann Walker in 1785, and had 6 children to my knowledge. I'm not aware of any direct descendants of Joseph being on the list, but there are descendants of some of Joseph's siblings. One of his brothers was the George who married Grace Greenwood. Another was the John who married Susan Porritt. And then there's the Mark who married four times (I think) into the Wentworths, Overends, Maynards and ANO. Cheers Rich -- Born in Sheffield, but currently in Nottingham UK.
