    3. Hi folks, This newspaper reoprt has jus come to my notice. It is from the Sheffield newspaper, "The Star", although the story relates to a Doncaster woman. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I still love him A WOMAN cleared of causing her boyfriend's death after he fell from the bonnet of her car as she drove off after a row today declared: "I still love him." Mum-of-three Caroline Tetley walked free from Sheffield Crown Court after a jury cleared her of causing Andrew Mulholland's death by dangerous driving. She told her elderly dad Bob before the result was announced to care for her two younger kids, daughter Rayann and Raymond, both aged 12, in case she was sent to prison. But today she is planning to move house, start a new career and care for her mum Dora Rose, who is critically ill with emphysema. The 37-year-old always denied killing her lover, who died after falling from her car as she drove frightened for her life after a furious row. She travelled around half-a-dozen streets in Intake, Doncaster, in a desperate attempt to shake him from the front of her vehicle. The court had heard Mr Mulholland, 36, threatened to kill Ms Tetley during the row. Ms Tetley, of Warwick Road, Intake, was originally charged with the manslaughter of her common-law husband, who died from head injuries two days after the incident last September. Speaking of her ordeal for the first time, she said Mr Mulholland had been violent towards her leading up to the incident, but added: "I still love him today. Angry "He had his faults, as all people do, but he had his good points as well. He would send me nice cards and cook for me all the time. "He was so angry on the night we argued, it was a row over nothing. He broke a couple of windows in the house earlier and was upset about that. I didn't want to let him in the car, but I never meant to kill him and I'm so glad the jury believed my story." Mrs Tetley, who also has a 21-year-old daughter Erica, has not yet visited Mr Mulholland's grave, or spoken with his family. She added: "They took it really badly, and never believed I was not guilty of killing him. I would have hoped they could have known differently. "I was told I couldn't go to the funeral because it would probably cause trouble. "I am so relieved I have been freed, because of all the pain it would have caused my kids and my family, but I am also sad because Andrew and I would still be together if he was alive." 01 February 2003 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Regards Richard (in Notts)
