Hi folks, One for the descendants of Joshua.... If my information is correct, Joshua married Hannah Carbutt, daughter of Francis Carbutt, in Sheffield. But, Francis Carbutt was a Leeds linen merchant. So, why did they marry in Sheffield? Was it an elopement? Or have I got that wrong?
