Looking for any connections to a William MUSGRAVE, certainly the HOWE, SAWDON, TETLEY and HORSFALL families are connected to him. William MUSGRAVE had 2 daughtrs Beattrice Hannah who became a HOWE and Edith Tetley who became a SAWDON, I suspect William MUSGRAVE married a TETLEY but cannot be 100% sure. The family were related to Sir John Donald HORSFALL, baronet, who once lived in Park Lane, London and whose family is mentioned in Burkes Peerage. The SAWDON's lived near Totney, Devon at one stage and Derbyshire at another stage. anyone got any obvious connections or advice? Mark Hughes www.numiscorp.com
Hi Mark, I really need some dates (birth, marriage, death, baptism etc,) to help me get started. The easiest, for me, is to know who was alive, and what age they would be, in 1881, then I can track them on the 1881 census (hopefully). It does help to know roughly where they were living in 1881, as well. Any clues?
