My mother was about 12 when her mother passed away. Amos remarried and had two or three other daughters and a son. I've been doing a little research when time permits and that's how I came across this page. My sister Philana has a post on it too. If you'll Google Amos Teske you'll find that he was the recipient of the Distinquished Service Cross. I think Emil was his father.
