Survivors: son Fred, Eldon, both of Garden City, LeVon of Derby; daughters, Ellen Haynes of Garden City, Lyla Chappell of Hutchingson; 46 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren. Memorial has been established with Assembly of God Church. Funeral program: Eda S. Newberry Was born May 23, 1894 at Carthage, Missouri and died July 28, 1990 at the age of 96 years. Her parents were Henry and Ellen (Meathers) Templeton. She was a member of the Kingman Assembly of God Church and had lived in Kingman County and Garden City most of her life. In 1912, she married Fred Newberry at Tulsa. He died in 1941. Also preceding her in death were children Norman, jay, Charlsey, Eda and Wilma.
