Taking the plunge so to speak is not a bad thing, Harold. Congratulations! Our Templeton line is in Scotland, starting with William Templeton, born around 1800. Married in Dalserf in 1827 to Joan Forrest. They stayed in Dalserf through 1835, then went to Cambusthenan, then Hamilton through 1841. Do not know where they were at in the 1851 census or 1861 census. In June 1861 they were in Bothwell, Lanark when Joan died. Have not found where he died or where they are buried.
