Hi all Because we have so many new researchers, I am reposting this... In 1957, Mrs. William Frakes of Effingham, Illinois submitted this to DAR magazine Looking for the parents of Thomas Temple, b. 22 April 1796 , Joseph Temple b. 7 July 1798, John Temple b. 26 Nov. 1804 married Hannah Hollis, Richard Temple, B. 12 Sep. 1807, and James Temple B. 27 September 1810. I have often wondered if Richard could be the Richard Temple who married Mary Hart. My ggggrandparents were John Temple and Hannah Hollis. I have much information on the Hollis side, but I can't find the parents of the above men. I have looked for Mrs. Frakes and her connection to the Temples, but with no results.
