I have more on this line, but cannot determine who William TEMPLE's family was. Cass County Missouri Families, The Cass County Historical Society, Inc., 1976 p. 81 John Dean married secondly, Marsella TEMPLE, a widow whose husband had been killed during the Civil War. I have more information on these folks, but cannot identify Marsella or her TEMPLE husband. p. 299 Wilson SCOTT m Nannie E. TEMPLE, dau Augustus and Sarah (OLDHAM) TEMPLE in 1863. I have more info on the family, but do not recognize Augustus and his family - anyone know something about them? Georgia Through Two Centuries - Family and Personal History, Lewis Historical Publishing Company, Inc., West Palm Beach, FL, 1965 p. 751 Mentions Inman TEMPLE, son of Reese Cleveland and Mary (FRYE) TEMPLE, b. 16 Aug 1924 in Hart Co., GA. Considerable information available on Inman, but I cannot identify his father, Reese Cleveland. Georgia Revolutionary War Soldiers' Graves, compiled by H. Ross Arnold, Jr., and H. Clifton Burnham. p. 530 Richard TEMPLE, b. 17 Feb 1748, served as a private in the Revolution, and later settled in Oglethorpe Co., GA, where he died.
