Our research has shown that Temple and Temples families arrived in the NC, SC, and Ga. areas from about 1750-1800. Also the information given to us indicates that there was a split of the families out of VA. and NC. into GA. and SC. My family lived in the Batesburg, Edgefield County, SC from 1820-present. With several marriages to Roger's and Johnegan's in SC. and Watkins in Bartow, GA. My father Robert Julian Temples was born in Davisboro, Ga. (Jan 1, 1919-July 7, 1992), but lived his earily life in Batesburg, SC.with the family in that area. We are looking for family histories and or connections to these people.
