I found the following references to TEMPLE folk in the Civil War. I was hoping someone might be able to place them in families for me. Anyone have more data on these? Moses J. W. Temple enlisted 14 Aug 1862 in Co. G, 6th Inf Regt of MD. Died at the Battle of the Wilderness, 5 May 1864. May have had a brother, Albin N., who was in the same company. (p. 240) Franklin and Amos H. in Co. C, 7th Inf Regt from MD. (p. 285) George Temple, enlisted 29 Jun 1863, mustered out 31 Jan 1864. Co. E, 2nd Regt of MD Cavalry. (p. 756) I have the citation for the book - one that's been sitting in my library for over 30 years. Strange what you find in your own house. Please let me know if you can help place these people.
