Hi Joanne, I would like to add one thing to your message about John Temple. World Family Tree Volumn 14 pedigree #1857 says a John Temple who was born in Scotland married Elizabeth Marshall in 1785. If this is correct we do have another John Temple because the father of John who married Jane Russell (Major) was born in PA. I am requesting the address of the author so I can reveal her source.
