    3. Ralph: You ran across the same phenomenon I did. I originally rejected keeping TEMPLES because I thought they were different lines. I have begun to include them in my research as well. For those dealing with TEMPLE or TEMPLES in the South, particularly post 1840, if you hit a dead end, check the alternative spelling of the name. I have even found it among siblings in a family.
