This George is the son of James Harvey Temple and Mary E Alexander, and grandson of William Temple and Jane Smith. James Harvery Temple moved from Roane Co, TN to Greene Co, IL around 1850. I have not yet followed up on them (except for the 1850 census) so, I don't know if they stayed there or moved on? Will let you know if I find more on him.
