Joanne, I believe Oliver P. Temple's book is NOTABLE MEN OF TENNESSEE. I found these bits in HANOVER CO. VA COURT RECORDS 1733-1735 pp77-80, compiled by Rosalie Edith Davis, 1979 Elizabeth Temple witrnessed a Quaker marriage contract (1734) Joseph Temple of St. Margetts. Par. bought 300 acres of land from Benjamin Brown and John Right (1734) I didn't find any further reference to Temples in that source. Miriam
