    3. Hi Temple researchers # 18 on Parker's list of floaters is a descendant of John Temple (b. 1804) and Hannah Hollis. There is a letter from Eden Booth among the Chester Co., Papers of Cope and Furthey. LDS microfilm #0757068. This was a letter to a Lewis Cook in Philadelphia from Eden Booth of Colonial Poultry Farms in Pleasant Hill, Mo. dated May 1952. He had more info on the Temple family he was sending to Cook. Included is this info on John: "John Temple was the son of John Temple. John Temple (son) was married to Hannah HOLLIS on July 22, 1824. John Temple died Jan. 3, 1851. I don't know where he was born, where he married, or where he died. Hannah his wife, died Jan.25,1889 in Kansas City, Mo. I believed he died before she moved to Missouri. Their children were: Thomas b. 1-15-1826 Elizabeth b. 10-26-1827 She is buried in Olathe, Kansas Geo. Washington b. 6-27-1830 Jos. Lewis b.8-20-1832 James b. 10-28-1834 in Coatsville, Chester Co, Pa., died 4-17-1909 in Olathe, Kansas Mary Ann b. 11-1-1836 Maria Louisa b. 8-30-1839 died 10-28-1839 William Franklin b. 2-26-1843 my wife's father thinks he was born in Lancaster, Pa. William Franklin Temple was my wife's grand-father Josephine b. 2-25-1845 John Hollis b. 1-24-1847 died in Oct 1865 Norris b. 1-7-1849 died 10-10-1849" I do not have all the children of William Franklin Temple (Of Olathe until at least 1885), so I do no know for sure who was Lucy's father. Josephine married Joseph Jakeway and was in Champaign Co., Ill at least until 1885. George W. was also in Champaign Co., Ill. Joseph Lewis moved to Washington State before 1900, and I think the rest of them were around Kansas City areas of Missouri and Kansas. I am still looking for the parents of John b. 1804 in Pennsylvania...I am sure that he didn't just hatch. : ) Joyce Hagerty
