It seems that Joanna Shepey has become a popular subject on this Temple rootsweb site. I love it. I have been studying this since Park sent me part of his data base which included her as being wife of Richard a year or two ago. I really like what Park is doing and have looked at his home page several times I knew from the first time I communicated with him that he was very concerned about proper documentation. I have patterened myself after him. However Park, I still have not found a source that states that Richard Temple, b. abt. 1623 in Eng., the one whose house still stands in Concord MA, my 8th greatgrandfather, had a wife by the name of Joanna Shepey. I have not however seen the Boston Transcript newspaper 29 Jan 1923. This is what is so great about the computer and the internet. Several people working together to grasp every bit of information possible to get things right. Levi D. Temple never had this tremendous tool. He made a few mistakes but with what he had he did a fantastic job. His book is a great starting point for us Temples. I never realized there were so many Temples doing what I love to do.
