Sylvia & all, The Stephen who m. Rhoda was my direct ancestor. Rhoda Galloway was Stephen's 2nd wife. Rhoda had a previous marriage also. (Richard Estling). Through this 2nd m. they had the children you mention. Stephen's 1st marriage also resulting in many children one of which was the Stephen you mention. He m. Susannah Wood. My ancestor, Palmer came from this first marriage. The mother Sarah has been the subject of one of my most ambitious searches. I have never found her maiden name.
