A few of us Teal researchers got together yesterday in Wadesboro, NC for a mini informal Teal reunion. There was just a handful. We got to get to know each other better in this setting. They came from as far away as Wichita Falls, TX. Also close by from Smyrna, SC, Cheraw, SC, Wallace, SC and Cornelius, NC. We met at the Anson County Historical Society and visited with one another. We were able to share info and maybe help each other alittle. Steve Bailey, a local genealogist took us on a tour of 5 museums plus we got to meet the proprietors of "The Forever Inn" a local B & B. They were very nice. The weather seemed to cooperate fairly well. We were all glad to have made the effort to get there. We don't know what the future holds regarding any future reunions. But we all decided we would love to do it again. I believe we have made some strong friendships. I hope that if this happens again there will be more people come and be blessed be getting together with extended family! Jane Foley
