    1. Meshack Teal of Campbell Co GA
    2. I am researching the family line of Meshack Teal b 1820 married Naomi Hattaway b 1826. They were living in 1850 Campbell co GA and had the following children: Nancy Ann E. b 1846, Malissa A b 1848 and Kitturah F b 1849. Kitturah married William Ivey in 1868 Cleburne Co AL. Meshack Teal was the last man to be hung in Campbell Co GA in 1856. I have not discovered what happened to Naomi and the children for the 1860 census. Does any one have any information on them. I know that in 1868 the Kitturah was in Cleburne Co AL. I have searched the census records pretty thoroughly for this family in Haralson, Campbell, Carroll and Cleburne and have not found them. Does anyone have any knowledge of this family? I also do not know who Meshack Teal's parents where or where he came from. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you Jan

    3. This year instead of sending out a card to each of you I am sending you a site I found. As I walked through it's pages my soul was stirred so deeply. I too have forefathers who have died for this country, not only in war but in the taming of its frontiers. I send this to you with pride of my ancestors, your ancestors and all those men and women who have given their lives to lay the foundation of what you, I and our descendants so enjoy - freedom. This weekend as you visit the graves of your loved one and heroes take a moment and stop by a lonely grave and place a flower in memory of when they walk this earth with us. We are one family. http://home.ptd.net/~nikki/memorial.htm Kathleen Burnett List Mom To learn more about my world, visit http://dwp.bigplanet.com/kburnett or my world outside of my home http://kathleenburnett.homestead.com/RealEstate.html or to see a list of the Mailing Lists I am List Mom for visit http://mailing_lists.homestead.com/lists.html I will do lookup for you in any of the following books in my genealogy library. http://kbiambooks.homestead.com/library.html or join the Genealogy Chat Friends Club at http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/genealogychatfriends or visit my Utah page with great Utah Links http://kbiamutah.homestead.com/index.html

    1. Re: ISABELLA TEAL
    2. Looking for information and names of children of ISABELLA TEAL, born in England about 1778 (maiden name and husband's given name unknown to me). In an 1860 City of Salem, Salem County, NJ Census Record, she was approx. age 82, living with HANNAH JARMON, age 24 and Margaretta, age 1. I believe that HANNAH JARMON may be ISABELLA TEAL's granddaughter, possibly from a marriage of a daughter of hers to a JARMAN/JARMON. HANNAH JARMON may have also had siblings, ROBERT JARMAN and ISABELLA B. JARMAN, who married DOMINGO R. DIRUBE. In an 1850 Salem Census record, a HANNAH A. JARMAN, ROBERT JARMAN and ISABELLA B. JARMAN were residing with DANIEL JARMAN. I am trying to find out if HANNAH A. JARMAN (1850 Salem Census) residing with DANIEL JARMAN is the same HANNAH JARMON (1860 Salem Census) residing with ISABELLA TEAL. I believe that HANNAH A. JARMAN, ROBERT JARMAN and ISABELLA B. (JARMAN) DIRUBE were wards of DANIEL JARMAN, and also the grandchildren of ISABELLA TEAL. It could be that DANIEL JARMAN was the brother of their father, who was married to ISABELLA TEAL's daughter. If you recognize any of these names, please contact me. Thank you.

    1. Catherine Teal
    2. Rod and Wendy Standish
    3. Hi, Does anyone know anything about the family of a Catherine TEAL who married Nicholas NEAR? Nicholas NEAR was born in 1798 in New York, than came to Upper Canada via Pennsylvania about 1799 or 1800. He lived in Bertie Township of Welland County, which is in the Niagara Peninsula in Ontario, Canada. Many TEAL families lived in Bertie Twp. as well. I found on the 1828 census of heads of households in Bertie Twp. a Henery TEAL, Zacariah TEAL and a Zacariah J. TEAL. The 2 latter TEALs were listed immediately before the name of "Nicalus NEER". Zacariah J. TEAL had 1 male under 16 in his household and 5 females over 16. I was wondering if this could have been the family of Catherine TEAL, since they lived next door. Nicholas and Catherine at this point had 1 boy and 5 girls under the age of 16. Is anyone familiar with these families? I have just discovered this connection and know nothing at all about TEAL family history. Thanks in advance, Wendy
