He was born about 1795 in New York and died 5 June, 1875 in Raisinville, Monroe Co., Michigan. He married Elizabeth Fredenburgh about 1828. They moved from Ontario, Canada to Raisinville, Michigan between 1844 and 1849. All four of their children were born in Canada: Louisa Matilda, David Henry, Charles and Michael. All are listed in the 1850 census for Raisinville, Monroe Co., Michigan. I would greatly appreciate any information.

At least that's what I've always been told. I have done a little bit of family tree research with a lot of help from my late great grandmother Ivy Mary Louisa Teal (nee Williams) her husband (my great grandfather) Robert Charles Teal was born here in Australia but I'm fairly sure his father Elijah Teal was born in Scotland and thats where the name originated from.
