I hope you have some help for me. My husband's mother was a Taylor. Her grandfather was John Louis or Lewis Taylor who was born February 25, 1835 in Raleigh NC and died December 5, 1878 in Oxford, Lafayette Co. MS. He married Margaret Ardula Hudson on March 8, 1859 in Pontotoc Co. Miss. Margaret was born on May 5, 1843 in Memphis Tenn and died Nov. 27, 1932 in Hillsboro, Hill Co. Tx. Her father was James Lewis Taylor born Jan. 24, 182 in Pototoc Co. Miss and died April 29, 1935 in Dawson, Navarro Co., Texas.
