Looking for information on John M. Taylor b. 1832 in Indiana and any of his children. John is the son of Tarpley D. Taylor and Lydia Secrest. In 1860 he is living in Jones Co., IA with his wife Elizabeth Lucas and 4 children: Alice A. Taylor b. 1854 in Iowa James W. Taylor b. 1855 in Iowa M. C. Taylor (female) b. 1857 in Iowa William Taylor b. 1860 in Iowa I have been unable to find him after 1860. Old family stories say that he was killed by Indians in California. Thanks, Marilyn Cain
