The reason I mentioned my Sidwell that my Taylor married is, the name Hugh. We never know where a name actually comes from. There was a Hugh Sidwell, from England. He died in testate, never going back to England. He was at Boonesborough with Daniel Boone and John Taylor, I think his name was. So, seeing the name Taylor and Sidwell, together...I wonder if there was a reason, or if this was where the Taylors and the Sidwells began? My great grandfather Jesse Taylor married Ellen Sidwell as his first wife in the late 1800s. My grandfather Samuel would later marry a Smith.
