Seaching for info on my 4th Great Grandmother - Jeanette B. Taylor b. abt 1803, Monroe Co., W(VA). Jeanette married Abraham Knapp. There are a few possibilities for Jeanette's parents. A Daniel Taylor had three sons (Eli, William & Solomon Taylor) who had daughters abt 1800. Any help is appreciated. Butch Willard

I am trying to locate a Taylor family in PA. However, with the changing of the borders of states in that area, I believe that at one time part of WVA was part of PA. (I think that the borders consolidated just after the Rev. War, but I am not sure.) Anyway, do you have more information on the Daniel Taylors about whom you queried? Our patriarch, at this time, is Elias Taylor born about 1795 and I think that William was a brother. For many people Eli is a shortened name of Elias but then, again, some just use Eli in the census. If you have more about him, please help in my search.
