Amen to that, every family has a different story about the family and it's like when you were kids and use to tell the person next to you something and pass it on, by the time you get to the person at the end the sentence changed completely. Sort of the same thing. -----Original Message----- From: CCarnivale@aol.com [mailto:CCarnivale@aol.com] Sent: Sunday, March 31, 2002 5:47 PM To: TAYLOR-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [TAYLOR] 11 Taylor brothers Jennifer, The problem with that story, is that , in over 30+ yrs doing genealogy, I have heard it in every one of my lines! The number of the brothers changes. There are: Indians in every family; someone killed by Indians; kin to every famous person of the surname, etc., etc. I believe it when I can prove it. Not to say, all family tradition is wrong, just sometime not quite right. And they are NEVER where they are supposed to be, it seems.
