Hiram Taylor was grandson of the following John Gratton Brown. See notes about his uncles Hiram and Charles Brown, killed in Arkansas about 1865. Their wives moved back to Kentucy Later. Note that four of six children married Taylors. I believe they were descended from Harrison Taylor, son of the miller Taylor of VA, and migrated to Ohio Co., KY. I am a Butler Co., KY (neighbor of Ohio Co.) Taylor but of Moses Taylor (1729-1819) NC to Logan/Warren Co. KY in 1795. My Moses had a son named Redding Taylor who made the migration from Craven Co., NC to KY then on to Warreck Co., IN.
