It is not a good idea to split the list, new researchers that are just starting to do their genealogies have enough to learn , with out having to choose what list to research. In all the many years I have been doing this, and that is a lot of time and I have never seen a surname split for the convenience of a few. I agree with the others, do not split the list. Another thing, I have heard from a lot of people, confirming Bryan started this list, and he certainly had a very good reason for not being on top of everything. Let him have it back. Mary
