O.K.... I've been reading everyone's posts very patiently and have yet to see a Taylor I recognize so thought I'd throw my information out! My brick wall is with my gggrandfather, George Washington Taylor. I have a birth year of 1837 in TN. He was married to Elizabeth Bowlin, b 1839. My greatgrandfather was William Washington Taylor b 11-26-1867 (also in TN?) his wife was Georgia Ann Bell b 5-26-1873. They both died in Perry County Arkansas, where my dad Clarence William Taylor (C.W.) was born in 1934. His parents were Opal Henry Taylor and Lucy Elizabeth Stone. Anyone know any of these people?
