Carleen, None of those children's names are familiar. What I have listed, for Jesse and Catherine's children are: Jane, born 1829, in TN; Susan born 1833; James born 1839 in TN; Paton (Peyton) born 1840; Sarah (sally) born 1847; Thomas (my ggrandfather), born 1845 iin TN; Catherine, born 1848, and possibly Frances (Fannie) born in 1830 in TN. I have NC as birthplace for both Jesse and Catherine, but that was "by word of mouth" in the family and I have not been able to verify that. In addition, I have that Jesse was married at least two more times, but this information came from a cousin and has not been verified. He allegedly married a Mary Westbrook about 1872-3 and an Emily R., about 1854. I do not have a marriage date for Jesse and Catherine. I also have that Jesse died in 1873(according to my grandmother) and that Catherine died about 1863, when she fell from the second story of the house. I have that Emily was born in 1835-6, in TN, and that Mary was born in 1829 in AL. I also have a list of children for Jesse and Emily as: Eddy, b. 1856 Thomas 2, b.1857 Florence, b. 1862 Alfred Albert, b. 1863 William Willy, b. 1865 Mary, b. 1868 I show that Jesse and Mary had two children: Samuel, b. 1870 and Erma, b. 1872. I have no idea just how accurate all of this information is because I have not been able to verify it. I do know that Jesse was married at least twice, because my great uncle recalls that he remarried after Catherine fell and died. Hope all this makes sense---it makes MY head swim!!!
