That could very well be. Have you opened any strange attachments lately? Can a virus scan catch a hacker? I had a hacker years ago when my grandkids let him in :) one way I knew is when I would sign on my AOL I had 2 slots for a pass word. Not sure how he did it. I found it by doing a Ctrl Alt Delete at the same time. that showed me what I had running. Found a strange program. I went to FIND to check what it was. It was him :) so I deleted it and never had a problem again Another way you can find out is go to your AOL settings then bill center>then display bill you can then click on current month and it will show you what time you were online. Check and see if it shows times like in the middle of the night when you are asleep. Someone also told me you could add yourself to your buddy list and if it shows up twice that is a sign. might give these a try. good luck HUGS Barb Come visit our sites BARB & DAN'S WORLD BARB & DAN'S FAMILY TREE BARB & DAN'S FORTUNE

    3. Dear All: You may have seen an earlier post about the random unsubscribing from the Taylor list. After a lot more digging out the headers etc etc. The sequence was as follows. A: Scott Wright set his filter to forward his mail back to the Taylor list. I don't know why and phone calls to him go unanswered. B: I then deleted him last Sat C: The computer sent him the unsubscribe notice. D: You guessed it... it gets returned again and again and again. E: Each time it comes back with some message that it found in his box. F: Our computer at Rootsweb then scans the messages to look for subscribe or unsubscribe and removes that address. So some of you will get unsubscribed until we get this loop stopped. Merely resubscribe The staff at Rootsweb is working on breaking the loop and it should be stopped real soon now. < sigh> Best Regards John A Hansen > -----Original Message----- > From: OKIEDAND@aol.com [mailto:OKIEDAND@aol.com] > Sent: Thursday, April 04, 2002 1:40 PM > To: TAYLOR-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [TAYLOR] Here is what I got! > > > In a message dated 4/4/2002 3:24:40 PM Central Standard Time, > CCarnivale@aol.com writes: > > > > Someone said I was being hacked, or why is it happening only to > me, and only > > > > this list? > > > > Hummm.
