    3. Dear All: We need to remove the subject of splitting the mailing list from the main stream of the mailing list. It is now off topic for further discussion. In my experience, it is unproductive and further posts never are successful at changing anyone's mind. Over the years, I've heard about all the rational on both sides that can be developed. The original Roots-l list at North Dakota edu went through this discussion several times. Anyone can start a mail list at any time by merely filling out a form on the Rootsweb home page and convincing the Listmaster of the reason. So there is really no reason to further discuss it on this list. Anyone interested in a separate list is welcome to email me and discuss how they would like to proceed. If there is sufficient interest, then I will be glad to assist in that list and even allow a post on this list about the availability of that list. There is an natural ebb and flow to the lists over the year. What seems like high volume now winds up being a low volume in the summer. Once a new list is established for whatever name that occurs, then it can't be removed. The one new list that kinda makes some sense would be Taylor-UK. There has been some success on other surnames with that option. However, on this list the subject of splitsville is off topic and ended. < that's a period. The VLF has been rented from Piglet for this occasion :-) Best Regards John A Hansen List Admin jahansen@qwest.net

    3. Hi Listers There already is a TAYLOR-UK list, but the volume of traffic is small. What does this next line mean? >>>>. The VLF has been rented from Piglet for this occasion :-) Rob Rushton Hull E Yorkshire UK
