    1. Re: [TAYLOR] Fw: Looking for Taylor
    2. Betty, I know from my research that a Charlotte Taylor was a widow of John Taylor, they had 2 sons, one of which was named Thomas but when I dug deeper I found the middle intial to be different. Anyway she remarried in Stewart but they moved to Trigg with her sons. Also while searching the court records she was given guardianship to several children. I need to do further research on this but haven't so far. She may have had nieces and nephews that were turned over to her for one reason or another. I can look for this husbands name if you would like. Also, the only Taylor who had children on the 1840 census that fit my time frame and ages for Stewart county was a man named Armsted Taylor. Is this man in your family? Cathy Psalms 108:1-4 "My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast! I will sing and make melody! Awake, O my soul! Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn! I will give thanks to the thee, O Lord, among the peoples, I will sing praises to thee among the nations. For they steadfast love is great above the heavens, thy faithfulness reaches to the clouds."(RSV)
