I haven't posted in about a year. I am still looking for any information concerning my family back in the late 1700's. My Great Great Grandfather was William W. Taylor, born 13 June 1788, probable in Conn and was a shoemaker to the best of our knowledge. His wife was Hannah (NLN) born 7 June 1797, maybe in eastern NY state. They had 9 children eight girls and 1 boy who was Merritt Daniel Taylor, my Great Grandfather. Merritt Daniel was born in West Stoclkbridge, Mass 30 Sept 1819. He served briefly in the civil war and then moved to Tioga county in PA. My Grandfather was Thomas Herbert Taylor, born in Mainesburg (Tioga county) PA 27 Sept. 1866. I would appriciate hearing from anyone who might have any information concerning this Taylor family. Herb Taylor
