Every once in a while I repeat my query to the board in case there is someone new out there who knows the answer! Well, here goes again: I am searching for the parents of Jeremiah Taylor who was b. ca 1770 - don't know location. He first appears in Culpeper Co., VA on the 1791 tax list. A few years later his only son Valentine Taylor was baptized in St. Mark's Parish, Culpeper Co. Valentine's only son Thornton was born in Culpeper. Gradually they migrated over the Blueridge to Page County where Thornton grew up and fathered many children. Many of his descendants still live there. I am sure one of the reasons they are so hard to trace is the fact that Jeremiah and Valentine each only had one son and several daughters. If there had been more sons, maybe there would be more Taylor records! Anyway, does anyone, anywhere have in their files the name "Jeremiah Taylor"? Thanks for any info. Janice Taylor jtaylor@inna.net
