My TAYLOR interest: Simon Pickens Taylor, b. 15 Aug 1825 in SC - d. 3 Mar 1899 in TX (he was also known as Aleck), m. 2 Aug 1859 in TX to Jemima Caroline Jones, b. 16 May 1843 in Rep. of Texas. Simon Pickens Taylor's parents were: John Taylor and Barbery Kelley - (she was born in or near Dublin, Ireland). I do not know when Simon Pickens Taylor came to Texas nor whether or not other members of his family accompanied him. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Goldie
