Carl, I am sorry to tell you that the book "Log Cabins To The White House" Brewer, is not a true and accurate reference for the Taylor line. The information was never researched, because she died, and she was had not finished the researched. Her family was contacted, and asked to finish it, but was not interested at that time. there is email sent out warning people of this misconception. I have a copy of the email, and soon as I can find it, I will post it to the Taylor site. I am not posting this for any other reason, than to warn people not to count on the accuracy of this book. You will find that the book "Genealogy -Taylor-Snow" is very well researched, and is considered the best source for Taylor lines. It is available at the LDS genenalogy library, on micro-film and can be ordered and copied there. Mary
