I'm over this CAPS thing. I'm searching this list daily for links to my relatives. I have info on a TAYLOR family in Beebe & Rosebud, AR area originating with an A(hab) W(ilson) Taylor. There are a lot of names familiar to my TAYLOR family and my TAYLOR's were also in the same area of White Co, AR. My gggreat grandpa was Horace W TAYLOR b. Sept 1864 in Dogwood Twp, WhiteCo, AR and d. bef June 1st 1900. He is living with his mother and siblings in the 1880 census. His mother is a M.E. TAYLOR and is head of household. She is 53 years old and b.in NC as were both her parents. The children are: Martha 21, T.L. 19, H.W. (Horace) 16, J.S. 9 all born in AR and their father was born in NC. I have searched out all the Taylors in a 3 county area and the A W TAYLOR family seems too close in many ways to be coincidence. I believe A.W.'s son Isaac M. TAYLOR b.1832 married a Margaret J. BLAKEMORE on July 8, 1856 in Weakley C, TN (I found the marriage record) around the same time Isaac's brothers moved to White Co, AR. I loose Isaac and Margaret but margaret's parents are in White Co, AR in 1860. Then I found a marriage record of Isaac TAYLOR to Elizabeth THOMPSON in White Co, AR on Jan 20,1859 but did not find them anywhere in U.S. on a census in 1860 or thereafter. Is this the same Isaac? What happened to Margaret? Is my M.E. TAYLOR possibly Margaret or possibly Elizabeth? I did not find my M.E. TAYLOR in the 1860 or 1870 census either. In the 1880 census Isaac's brothers are living all around M.E. Taylor in close proximity Does anyone have any info that could help me with a link here?? Any ideas?? I love to work puzzles. I once bought a puzzle and put it all together and found that one piece was missing! I promptly returned to the store and bought the exact same puzzle again. I dug thru the pieces until I found the ONE piece that was missing from the first puzzle and I put it in where it belonged! AHHHHH! Thanks for your help, Lori Jett
