I am searching for Reuben Taylor b 1790 in SC. I have been seasrching for many years. The death certificate of his son John N. Taylor says he was born in Old District Ninety Six. That covers several counties now. He died in Meriwether Co. Ga. His wife was named Mary (could be Nichols). If anyone has anything about this please let me know. Jan
