I am researching JOHN TAYLOR born March 27, 1805 in Sumner TN. He was a farmer. He married CYNTHIA WEBB 1826, in Franklin Co Illinois He died July 12, 1878 in Franklin Co IL. His father was HERRON TAYLOR, born 24 Feb 1772 in Dobbs County N.C.. He died about 1820 probably Gallatin Co IL. HERRIN'S father was ROBERT TAYLOR. HERRIN married SARAH 'SALLIE' COTTON.
