Hi Brenda, I've been reading your posts about the Caswell or Orange Taylors. I am a decendant of the Taylors of Granville County North Carolina. My relative goes back to John Taylor of Shocco Creek in Granville County. With all the Seasons busy carrying on, I vowed to myself that I would put away my papers until after the holidays when I had time to work on them. My dad gave me 3 folder fulls of land deeds and wills etc to pour through, if you would be so kind as to give me until after the holidays to look through these files I'll see what I can come up with. Sincerely, Angela Barber ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brenda Reeder" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, December 21, 2004 6:22 PM Subject: Re: [TAYLOR] Any one searching Caswell or Orange Co. or St. Mary's Dist. Angela, while you're at it, would check to see if there is an AGNESS TAYLOR mentioned in any of your information? She is my major brick wall. I don't know her maiden name, but she married a Taylor, whose first name I do not know. She was born June 6, 1784. The known children of Agness are NANCY, JOHN, WHITFIELD, and WILLIAM. I believe there are more children, but I have not been able to discover their names. They migrated from NC to TN in the late 1820s. They eventually settled in Weakley County, TN. Thanks in advance.
