While we are putting out info about South Carolina Taylors, here are mine. EDWIN J. TAYLOR was born 1825 in Holyoke, Mass. He married Augusta Mix on September 11, 1849 in New Haven, Connecticut. She was born in Connecticut, and died April 1880 in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. Edwin is also noted in the History of Abbeville and he was already a resident of SC when he married in 1849 then brought his bride back to SC. Children of EDWIN TAYLOR and AUGUSTA MIX are: i.
