Brenda - I will not be any help except to tell you that I have a Kerrenhappuck TAYLOR who married Benjamin DENNEY @ 1800 in Granville Co. I have only a land record for her from Caswell/Person Co that mentions a sister Agnes, and possibly two brothers. That is all I have - no will, no parents, nothing. My point - they must have been left by the same space ship that dropped your Constance off. Maybe they are really related - the area is right. I have been frustrated by Keren for years, also. I have even gone to North Carolina to look - but there was nothing there that I could find. Someday, somewhere, I'll find her family. Good luck to you. Thanks but at this point, after going through all the wills for both counties, land records, etc. There is no mention of her. I don't even find the Mrs. Mary whomever Taylor at whom home she was married in. I've even tried tracing her in hopes that it would lead me to Constance. Numerous people list Mrs. Mary Taylor as her mother but there is no proof, it could be an aunt by marriage, a sister who just happen to marry another Taylor, a great aunt, etc. Her husband Joseph Guess served under a Col. Richard Taylor in the Rev. War and they have tried to make him her father just because he served under him. It is published all over the internet that Col. Richard and Mary Taylor are her parents. They are just assuming it because of the last name association. And I don't even find them. Taylor is bad enough, but my maiden name is Stewart. My ancestor is William Stewart of NC according to the 1852 KY vital statistics. The mother was listed as a ?. And I don't just have one Stewart line I have two that go back to the same William Stewart of NC in the early 1700's. At least I was able to have my brother donate me his DNA and We have now connected the Livingston Co. and Muhlenberg Co. Kentucky Stewarts together. I appreciate you letting me rant. I guess it is time to go beat my head against another brick wall and bloody it up a while. One more rant while I am at it, my husbands family just seems to fall out of the sky into my lap clear back to when the Catholics were keeping records as far back as you can go with all the documentation. He has had 7 DNA matches and just says oh! Thank you Taylor researchers for listening to me. Brenda Stewart-Reeder
